Bold words from Trout here, as many players have sort of skirted around the issue. They’ll definitely detail to anyone who asks that they are against drugs, but this stance is rare. A lifetime ban would certainly give any player pause before he decided to take that risk. The way it is now, the money overflow from hitting a bunch of homers is worth getting pinched for drug abuse. But a lifetime ban, yeah, that will shut things down quick.
