Teddy Bridgewater's performance would usually be the takeaway from a blowout Louisville win over FIU. Bridgewater did his thing. He threw for a meek 212 yards, slapping on an extra four touchdowns for good measure in Louisville's 72-0 win. Lest you forget that this is a Charlie Strong defense, Saturday was a reminder. FIU was the unfortunate messenger.
The defense pitched the closest thing to a perfect game that you'll ever see. The Cardinals held the FIU defense to 30 yards overall in a beat down that was emblematic of this weekend's slate of cupcake games. It's not all good news for Bridgewater this week though.
The bad news for Teddy Bridgewater is he'll be on the Browns, Jaguars or Jet next season.
