Lamar Jackson has been one of the most talked about players in this spring’s upcoming NFL Draft.
From those saying he should make the move to wide receiver to those who declare him a franchise QB, Jackson has been a lightning rod for debate. But one thing that won’t be debated his allegiance to his Mom, Felicia Jones, who is now his adviser heading into the NFL scouting combine later this week.

I’ll just leave this here: Per the NFL official SRA list, #Louisville QB Lamar Jackson does not have an NFL agent representing him. No matter what your thoughts on agents are, that’s notable. And potentially concerning.
While some might be scoffing at this decision, LaVar Ball should have been your wake up call. Who knows their child better than their Mom, and who better to care for him than her. If teams want Jackson, they’ll have to go through his mom for now.

If he decides to sign with an agent, best believe that Mama Jones will be at the table when he signs that representation contract. If you need proof, check out his 2016 Heisman Trophy acceptance speech.
