Kobe is gone and the team had a horrendous season, which means it’s time to clean house in LA. Unfortunately for head coach Byron Scott, that also meant they were coming for him.
While the decision hasn’t been made officially as of yet, sources are confirming the firing of the former Laker great, in only his second year at the helm of the young Lakers team. Some thought Scott would be safe as they had a young nucleus to build upon, but it looks like his 38-126 record carried too much weight.
