After suffering injuries that allowed him to play in just 41 games over the past two seasons, many questioned what they should expect from old man, Kobe Bryant, entering his 20th season with the only franchise he’s ever known.
Bryant answered some of the critics last night scoring 24 points in 29 minutes, resembling the “Black Mamba” of old through the first three quarters. However, the fourth quarter told a different story, as Bryant looked winded and missed his final eight shots finishing 8-24.
The Lakers blew a 16-point lead and eventually lost to the young Minnesota Timberwolves 112-111, but Bryant looks just fine. The Lakers won’t be but hey, at least they’ll be fun to watch.
