Jeremy Lin Exchanges His Nikes For An Adidas Deal

Jeremy Lin has made a litany of changes since bursting onto the scene two years ago. He's no longer a New York Knick or a cultural phenomenon, but he's maintained relevance and his deal with Nike. On Monday, Lin made one more change by officially ditching Nike to join Adidas. On Team Adidas, he'll join Dwight Howard, Derrick Rose, Damian Lillard and John Wall.

“I’m really excited to join the adidas family,” Lin said in a news release Adidas issued this morning from his global basketball headquarters in Portland. “They’ve changed the game with new technology and style and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”

Lin was the first Asian-American player in NBA history, which doesn't mean much to the average American fan, but as the most prominent Asian player in the league, his star shines bright in the far East where the NBA seeks to grow irs game and expand its product/profits.
