As many mourn the loss of Boardwalk Empire, HBO’s Game of Thrones has been the guilty little medieval pleasure since it debuted in 2011. Season three featured wild finishes and shocking deaths that amazed and saddened fans making us eagerly anxious to see what happens next.

Season four premieres on April 6. And to tease our anticipation, HBO released a new trailer featuring scenes from the upcoming season, making proof positive that all other Sunday night dramas fall short. Winter has come. And when it leaves, Game of Thrones is this spring's must see option.
