According to sources, Duke transfer Rasheed Sulaimon is heading to Maryland.
Sulaimon, dismissed by Coach K this past January, is expected to finish up coursework this summer and be immediately eligible to play next season.
The 6-foot-5 guard was averaging 7.5 points in 20 games this past year for the Blue Devils before being dismissed from the team on Jan. 29.
According to cbssports.com, the addition of Sulaimon makes Maryland the preseason favorite in the Big Ten and potentially the nation’s No. 1 team heading into the 2014-15 season.
