Former bronze medal winning Olympic figure skater Debi Thomas, recently revealed in a shocking interview that she is currently living impecuniously in a bedbug infested trailer home during an interview on life coach Iyanla Vanzant’s television show.
Thomas became the first black woman to hold the U.S. national singles title in 1986. Following her figure skating career she went on to graduate from Stanford University and the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, becoming an orthopedic surgeon.
