Sacramento Kings All-Star big-man DeMarcus Cousins and fellow Alabama native Eric Bledsoe of the Phoenix Suns, in video game fashion, scored a combined 176 points in a charity exhibition game last night in Birmingham.
This all took place at Eric Bledsoes annual Back to School Rally at the local Railroad Park. The event is dedicated to raising school supplies for roughly 300 kids in the community. Entertainment was provided along with a chance to watch the game later that night where the former Kentucky teammates squared off against each other.
Even though its hard to believe that in the social media era there was no official video or box score to confirm Cousins 91 points and Bledsoes 85, it appears that the scoring was true based upon tweets which surfaced from the event.
@boogiecousins had 91 points and @EBled2 with 85 points in the back to school charity game!
