Coronavirus Attacks Sports: Charles Barkley Tests Negative For COVID-19

NBA legend and TNT analyst Charles Barkley announced 10 days ago that he was going into quarantine and being tested for coronavirus after feeling ill.

Today (March 23) Barkley announced that he doesn’t have COVID-19, testing negative.

I’ve received my COVID-19 test results this morning and they are negative,” he said in a statement released by Turner Sports. “I’d like to thank everyone for reaching out and expressing your concern and support. You all be safe and please take the necessary actions to help ensure your well-being.” 

Barkley’s announcement came one day after the NBA suspended play following Utah Jazz star Rudy Gobert‘s test.

According to ESPN Barkley had been to NY on a trip and was with he LA Angels at a Spring Training game against the Cubs in Mesa. Arizona.  Nobody from those teams has tested positive so far.
