After being barred by the league from trading for Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett as part of the Doc Rivers exchange, the Clippers have looked elsewhere for veteran experience to latch onto their roster. They didn't have to look far to find 37-year-old Antawn Jamison. After averaging 9.8 points per game in 21 minutes per night in his only season with the Lakers, Jamison became an expendable free agent after the season. The Lakers transparent attempts to get younger in contrast to the Clippers offseason plan to gather as much experience as possible and blend it with their Lob City culture made Jamison one franchise's trash and another franchise's treasure. Jamison won't offer much defensive assistance, but he's still a viable offensive contributor and efficient shooter off the bench.
