Jason Kidd Is Suspended For His First Two Games As Nets Coach

Jason Kidd picked up a technical in his first preseason game as coach of the Brooklyn Nets, and now his regular season debut will be on hold for a couple of games. Kidd got a DWI last summer after hitting a telephone pole, and the NBA decided to suspend him for two games. He will miss the Nets opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers and the home opener against the Miami Heat.
