Game of Thrones’ Premiere was HBO’s Most Watched Show Since Sopranos

Game of Thrones broke records Sunday night with 6.6 million viewers tuned in for the return of the Lannisters vs The World. This makes the great GOT season four premiere the most watched HBO show since The Sopranos series finale back in 2007 that drew 11.9 million viewers. 

Aside from being one of the most tweeted shows Sunday night, GOT drew 2.9 million interactions on Facebook alone. Winter didn't just come. It came and blew everyone out.
