Anthony Anderson is headed back to network television. His single-camera comedy will air on ABC and is called Black-Ish. (HA!) In the sitcom, Anderson portrays an upper middle-class African American father who is trying to raise his kids with a sense of cultural identity. But his liberal wife, old school father and color-blind kids are making things a little more difficult than they ought to be. The script will be penned by Kenya Barris, who will executive produce the show along with Anderson, ABC Studios and Laurence Fishburne’s Cinema Gypsy.
