Over the last few weeks we have seen a rash of sexual harassment claims across the worlds of sports and entertainment. Unfortunately this is nothing new, but now more are refusing to remain silent, choosing to speak up while opening the door for others to bravely speak about the pain and suffering they’ve experienced.
Today we are joined by Nicole Watson, one of the first African American sideline reporters who dealt with the same issues nearly 30 years ago. A former sideline reporter with Turner Sports, ESPN, and BET, Watson shares her experiences and what women have, and still, endure working in the game of sports broadcasting and journalism. Listen in as this candid discussion may give you new perspectives on what sexual harassment in the work place really causes to those victimized by it.
