Adrian Peterson Named No. 1 On NFL’s ‘Top 100 Of 2013’ List

The NFL Network capped its list of Top 100 Players for the upcoming 2013-14 season last night and, like last season's MVP voting, it was a one-two finish between Adrian Peterson and Peyton Manning, with the Vikings' one man show finishing on top.

Suprised? Probably not — if you are, you shouldn't be. AP rushed for 2,097 yards following a reconstructive knee surgery, nine yards away from Eric Dickerson's seemingly unbeatable single-season record. Sure, Peyton Manning had a fantastic season coming back from a serious neck injury, but Peterson had more rushing yards than 24 other teams. Amazing.

Seeing how he is entering next season healthy, now is his best chance to take another shot at the record. Now that Percy Harvin is with the Seahawks, the Vikings will probably rely on Peterson even more than last season, if that's even possible. In short, watch out, Dickerson, cause Peterson is coming for that record again.
