TMZ is reporting that A’s catcher Bruce Maxwell, who made headlines when he became the first MLB player to kneel during the anthem, was arrested for aggravated assault after he was accused of pulling a gun out on a delivery person.
According to the report, Maxwell was arrested at his Scottsdale, AZ home by police on Saturday evening after the female food delivery drive told cops Maxwell pointed a gun at her.
He was arrested and booked on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and disorderly conduct.
