Amazing to see what a new day can do, especially in Boston.
A day after some ignorant Red Sox fans decided to throw peanuts at the Orioles’ Adam Jones and call him the N-word, Fenway Park decided to show Jones some love and applauded him when he stepped up to bat.

Guess the apologies issued by the Red Sox, the Mayor, the Governor and MLB’ s statement from Commissioner Manfred drained the hate out of the ballpark. Or maybe it was the tweet issued by the team’s Mookie Betts, who let everyone know that the Red Sox actually had a Black player on the team.
Fact: I’m Black too Literally stand up for @SimplyAJ10 tonight and say no to racism. We as @RedSox and @MLB fans are better than this.

Regardless, it was good to see fans show some respect after a few fools showed their true colors.
