We think it’s safe to say at this point that Childish Gambino had solidified his spot in the music game with his 2013 release of “Because of the Internet.” He was nominated for Grammy Awards in 2015 for Best Rap Album for “Because of the Internet” and Best Rap Performance for his single “3005.” The word play got better and the visuals really set the bar for other videos to come.
