Another legend has been lost.
Today it was announced that hockey legend Gordie Howe has passed away. He was 88 years old.

The Detroit Red Wings legend and hockey Hall of Famer had suffered a stroke in 2014 but had recovered somewhat after receiving treatment in Mexico. “Mr. Hockey”, as he was known, was an iron man on the ice, holding records for most games (1,767) and seasons (26). He also ranks second to Wayne Gretzky (894) in goals scored with 801.
