Last night the Angels beat the Rays in Tampa Bay, 6-2. But the bigger story was in the home run area.
Albert Pujols, the Angels All-Star first baseman, smashed a two-run homer in the ninth inning, giving him 537 career home runs.It also helped him pass legend Mickey Mantle for 16th on the all time home run list.
Pujols is now looking up at Mike Schmidt (548 home runs) and Manny Ramirez (555), which will put him in 14th place all-time.
