Do you remember those goofy little commercials for the now defunct Heroes television series? “Save the cheerleader, save the world!”
Well, you can look forward to suffering through the marketing efforts of the peacock network again when they reboot Heroes as a mini-series in 2015. The project is being called Heroes Reborn and is slated for 13 episodes and Tim Kring, the creator of the original, will be back calling the shots on this project as well.
Some media outlets are calling Heroes Reborn a desperate attempt at rekindling a television love affair that had gone on just a bit too long and that fans eventually started to hate before all was said and done. For all those that look forward to its return, NBC has a tough job to make sure things don't fall apart and kill the great potential that came with the original Heroes.
