There are a lot of things you can buy for $373,000. I have some purchases I’d like to make, include a studio apartment in New York City, but this isn't about me. Jackie Robinson was an inspirational figure in American history. That’s not debatable. However, buying one of his used, mint condition World Series gloves isn’t even on the list. Buying memorabilia seems a bit fraudulent in my opinion. However, that didn't stop one man from purchasing one of Jackie Robinson's authenticated '55 and '56 World Series gloves for $373,002.
