The Chiefs were expected to choose between Central Michigan offensive tackle Eric Fisher and Texas A&M offensive tackle Luke Joeckel. All Joeckel did was block for Ryan Tannehill and the first freshman Heisman Trophy winner in college football history by his junior season. However, the 6-6, 306 pound offensive lineman's workouts at the NFL combine pushed him to the the top of the draft.
Eric Fisher became the third offensive tackle to go No. 1 in Draft history.
