Mookie Blaylock Is Headed To Jail

Mookie Blaylock, the 13 year NBA veteran, the majority of those spent with the Atlanta Hawks, received a reduced sentence for his role in a car accident in Georgia in 2013 that claimed the life of a mother of five.

Originally sentenced to 15 years, Blaylock saw his sentence reduced to seven years, with a three year suspension and eight year probation. After previous issues relating to alcohol, including a DUI, Blaylock was ordered not to drive by physicians due to him suffering from seizures. These facts surfaced during the trial, facts which ultimately led to the one time All-Star's fall from grace.
