Mike Munchak Fired By Tennessee Titans

Well, you can add former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak to the causality list of NFL coaches that have been shown the front door by management.  His departure was announced just prior to the start of the first NFL wild card playoff game on Saturday. Munchak has been dealing with a plethora of personnel problems since his arrival in Tennessee three years ago.

Quarterback Jake Locker has played a total of 23 out of a possible 48 games due to multiple injuries and former 2,000 yard rusher Chris Johnson has missed a significant number of games as well, but those are only the most prominent players who have missed time. Munchak has amassed a record of 22-26 in his tenure as head coach and led the team to a playoff appearance in 2011.
